Weekend fun

We had Brad, Emily and little miss Braelyn over on Friday night for a belated enchilada birthday dinner. Except I made Emily bring her own birthday dessert. What a hostess I am! Actually it wasn’t technically a birthday dinner but she did get some birthday goodies from us. It was more of a come over and eat my food so I can snuggle your baby dinner.

We had a busy Saturday ahead of us trying to get ready for our open house. Tristan decided last minute that he should fix up and paint the ¾ bath off of our bedroom. Good idea honey! I thought of that a month ago. Haha! Any who, we busted butt and cleaned and painted the house all purty. While I was painting the bathroom door outside I realized it was dang hot! I decided to lather Addison up with sunscreen and put on her suit (good thing I happened to buy one earlier that week) and we played in the sprinkler. Have I mentioned how much I love having our new backyard? Privacy and nice plush, weed free grass to sit in. Love, love, love it! Daddy blew up her pool but she was more interested in the sprinkler. Once she discovered she could drink from it, there was no more playing. At least she stayed hydrated! Haha! We had a pretty fun time.







On Sunday we headed up to Sunnyside to spend the day with Grandma Cathy. Another beautiful day, more sprinkler time and outdoor fun, cookie baking, and pizza.

Our open house wasn’t real successful, only 2 people showed. Oh well. Now let’s hope this weather sticks around!
