It's been 14 weeks already?!

I was unable to see my doctor (Dr. S) on my first OB appointment because he was out of the office. I literally cried on the phone (stupid hormones!) when they called to schedule me with another doctor. The ultrasound I had before turned out very light and grainy so I was all prepared to bat my eyelashes at Dr. S to see if I could get him to do another. Plus he missed the baby's debut and I'm certain he was sad about that. Haha! Turns out, it didn't take much eyelash batting at all. Have I mentioned how much I love this doctor? Anywho, according to Dr. S, he is known to fiddle with the ultrasound machine a little more than the other doctors to get it all bright and clear. As soon as the wand hit my belly I could tell such a difference. He spent about 10 minutes with me showing me baby's hands, feet, brain, face, and more. Again...LOVE HIM! I told him I had a feeling that I had another little girl in my belly. He said he was willing to bet against me on that. ;) Completely unofficially, he could see extra "tissue" in that region which could mean boy. He told me not to run home and paint the walls blue or anything. Haha! We'll just have to wait until next month to find out for sure....IF baby is cooperative. In other news, I’ve gained 5 pounds, all my blood work came back good, heartbeat was in the 150’s, and baby looks perfect. :D Dr. S said I should feel the baby move in the next week or two. I can hardly wait!
